Digital Gaming and Lottery Policy Summit to be held in December
11 Nov 2011
As a leader in market research for lotteries and gaming, Ipsos’ Paul Lauzon will attend the Summit to present on the convergence of online and offline gaming products and provide a view into consumer activity and behavior in both realms. Ipsos is also a key sponsor of the December event, with Lauzon presenting on Day 2 of the two-day summit.
“The Internet has changed the way consumers interact with brands, and that is just as true of lottery and gaming products as it is for any other segment,” says Lauzon, Senior Vice President with Ipsos’ Lottery & Gaming research practice. “My presentation at the DGLP Summit will focus on the unique challenges lottery and gaming organizations face, with a specific focus on how their consumers are behaving and acting online and offline. I will also be presenting recent findings from our latest gaming tracker study, and offering insights into the mindset of online game players with a gauge for their appetite for online products.”
The Digital Gaming and Lottery Policy Summit will take place December 5-6, 2011 at the Washington, DC Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. This collaborative, inclusive event will provide a unique forum through which attendees will achieve critical strategic and educational goals, through a set of shared objectives aimed at building stronger relationships among all parties and a deeper understanding of the issues involved. The Summit will include two full days of informative, concise seminars designed to crystallize the issues and challenges surrounding the US struggle to address the global and domestic proliferation of new forms of gambling across digital media.
