EDINBURGH, Scotland -- A court heard yesterday that a business man was shot outside a casino because of his son's gambling debts, The Sun reported.
A hitman shot Tony Demarco on steps of Gala Maybury Casino in June 2008, The Sun said.
His son Anthony, an online gambling addict who owed loan sharks, pleaded guilty yesterday to a 1 million UK pound fraud which he committed after his father's shooting, the report said.
Four men were jailed for 43 years in February for shooting Mr Demarco, The Sun said.
