Churchill urges customers to lobby over slots

KENTUCKY AND ILLINOIS -- Churchill Downs are encouraging their customers to lobby Gov. Pat Quinn to support a bill for slot machines, according to The Courier-Journal.

The bill would permit slot machines at Churchill's Arlington Heights racetrack, the report explained.

Gov. Pat Quinn has two months to decide whether he'll sign the bill or veto it, The Courier-Journal reported.
