China: 3600 arrested in China for world cup gambling

CHINA -- 3,600 were arrested for online gambling during the World Cup, The Indian Express reported.

Police also impounded USD 102 million during the raids, the Indian Express said.

Among those arrested were 180 people linked to gambling operations in Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia and the Philippines, The Indian Express reported.
