Car dealership workers hit jackpot
ONTARIO -- As reported by the Toronto Star: "All 25 employees of the GM dealership in Sundridge, Ontario hit the jackpot last night, winning $22.5 million on a shared ticket.
"'It's a great moment. I can't think of anything right now,' said owner Pete Bray, over the cheers of boisterous employees celebrating in the sales room.
"The $45,145,712 prize - the second largest ever offered in Canada - was split between two winning tickets.
"The other winning ticket was purchased in Quebec.
"The employees at Bray Motors have bought a single lottery ticket almost every week, selecting the numbers randomly at the machine, said Bray.
"It turned out to be a good investment for small dealership. Each employee will walk away with $900,000 each..."
