Boost for bingo operator with VAT victory

LONDON, England -- Bingo operator Rank should receive a £25.9m tax refund from the taxman, a tribunal has ruled, according to Financial Times report.
The Tribunal agreed that Rank had overpaid VAT on certain amusement machines in the 2002-2005 period, according to The Financial Times.
The Revenue Commission (HMRC) may appeal and is considering its course of action, The Financial Times report said.
