Bluff Europe opens London card room

14 May 2010

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Neil Channing, James Akenhead, Liv Boeree, Michael Greco, John Tabatabai and Sam Trickett were just a few of the poker stars who came to the glittering christening of the new Bluff Europe card room at the Mint Casino in South Kensington, London. The evening entertained high rollers, poker professionals and celebrities, including iconic eighties' decathlete Daley Thompson.

Bluff Europe @ The Mint was officially opened by Liv Boeree, fresh from her £1m victory at the EPT San Remo. Liv's christening speech welcomed the guests of honour and congratulated the design team for creating London's chicest new card room. Liv popped the champagne and the event got into full swing. The opening ceremony was followed by a free-roll for members of the press.

"We have great things planned for Bluff Europe @ The Mint," said Michael Caselli, editor-in-chief of Bluff Europe. "We have a full tournament schedule, as well as cash games to suit all pockets. Thursday nights will be our special Bluff Europe Poker Parties, and we want to invite people down for a taste of Bluff Europe's and The Mint's hospitality. We want to bring the glamour and style plus Bluff Europe's edginess to The Mint. Thursday nights will be especially cool, with custom card room DJ play lists, hospitality and celebrity guests."

Bluff Europe @ The Mint is a stylish, modern cardroom with eight tables, complimentary tea and coffee and a racy new design. Bluff Europe @ The Mint is located opposite the Natural History Museum at 43/45 Cromwell Road in South Kensingon and features a May tournament schedule including a £100 No Limit Hold'em freezeout on a Saturday and tournaments throughout the week with buy-ins ranging from £30 to £50.
