Bally to introduce Beach Boys slots next week
28 Mar 2012
Beach Boys Game Promises Fun, Fun, Fun!
Debuting for the first time ever, Bally Technologies will unveil its new Beach Boys-themed video slots. These five-reel, 1,024-way games, featured on Bally’s ALPHA 2™ Pro Series™ V22/22 Upright Wheel cabinet, capture “America’s Band” to its fullest, immersing players in the Southern California culture of surfing, sun, cars, and romance with The Beach Boys songs and video clips. The games feature five progressive jackpots, the U-Spin™ play mechanic, and five of The Beach Boys most beloved songs including California Girls, Fun, Fun, Fun, and I Get Around, enhanced by the custom Pro Series surround-sound chair. The colorful Beach Boys Bonus Wheel atop the game awards credits and one of the six U-Spin™ bonus wheels for a chance to win one of the progressive jackpots.
“Tribal gaming operators are tremendous partners and supporters of Bally Technologies, and we look forward to showcasing our latest solutions to help them drive revenue and get greater operating efficiencies in their casino operations,” said Derik Mooberry, Senior Vice President of Products and Operations for Bally Technologies. “Indian Gaming 2012 is the perfect environment to showcase our new games, systems, and interactive solutions -- all designed to deliver a better player experience.”
Bally Interactive Provides One View of Player
Another show highlight will be the Bally Interactive display, featuring the Company’s suite of online and mobile games -- interactive versions of popular Bally land-based games that offer enhanced bonusing, proven play mechanics, and progressives. Bally Interactive, through its cloud-based iGaming platform, mobile solution, and Remote Gaming Server, offers a complete business-to-business iGaming solution to enable casino operators to augment their land-based casino gaming with both mobile and online play-for-free and wager-based games, as well as custom mobile apps and websites. The Company’s multi-channel solutions have integration with Bally’s slot-management and casino-management systems to give casinos a single view of their patrons and powerful, enterprise-wide analytics.
The Bally Mobile team will also be on hand to give live demonstrations of the Company’s cloud-based custom mobile apps and mobile websites for casino patrons and internal-facing apps for casino employees.
World-Class Licensed Brands
Also expected to draw a crowd are world-class licensed branded games Michael Jackson King of Pop™, GREASE™, and a video-slot adaptation of the arcade favorite SKEE-BALL®.
Part game, part concert, Michael Jackson King of Pop features one of the most widely beloved and influential artists of all time in an exciting, music-filled game on Bally’s new Pro Series™ V22/32 cabinet with the custom, Pro surround-sound chair. Offering everything from mystery wilds bonuses and free games bonus events and featuring hit songs Bad, Beat It, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, and Smooth Criminal, this game is highlighted by a U-Spin™ Platinum Record Bonus and video clips showcasing the performer. Michael Jackson is represented exclusively for licensing by the Bravado International Group.
Inspired by the Paramount Pictures’ 1978 American musical film about two love-struck teens in a 1950s high school, GREASE is Bally’s first double-play game, featuring two, 25-line games -- enabling the player to play two games at once.
Another Indian Gaming 2012 spotlight is Betty Boop’s Fortune Teller™, the new companion game to the hit Betty Boop’s Love Meter™, which offers an unprecedented 15 bonuses at any bet and the U-Spin fortune wheel and available on the ALPHA 2 Pro Hammerhead™ cabinet with a life-changing top progressive.
Arcade-Like Play on Slot Machines
Bally brings the arcade favorite SKEE-BALL® game to casinos on its Pro V32 cabinet. The game includes a bonus feature in which players touch and slide to throw the SKEE-BALL®, winning “tickets” that enable them to “Pick a Prize” on the game that reveals credit awards. There will be several Pro V32 games featured, including All That Jazz™, which has a revolutionary iDeck feature called U-Play™, in which players touch and play virtual piano keys.
For its Pro Upright and Slant core for-sale video cabinets, Bally will showcase more than a dozen new game titles, including the award-winning Fish’n for Loot™, named “2012 Best Slot Product” and featuring the iDeck as an arcade-like player input device. This exciting new game, along with another similar game called Total Blast™, introduces Bally’s U-Shoot™ virtual shooting gallery bonus-game play mechanic in which the player touches the iDeck to create weapons for “shooting” at targets on the main game screens.
Creating the Floor-Wide Player Experience
Bally’s extensive systems and server-based solution showcase will feature the Company’s suite of casino and slot-management systems for every size of casino -- SDS™, CMP™, and CoolSign® media-management.
Indian Gaming 2012 attendees can experience live demonstrations of iVIEW Display Manager™ (DM), an interactive communication tool used by players and controlled by the gaming operator. This picture-in-picture style player-user-interface is backward compatible on any gaming device with a touch-screen display, and provides a way for casino operators to present self-service player-account access, marketing messages, and secondary bonus games on the main game screen -- without interrupting play.
Another show highlight will be Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite™ (EBS), which, when combined with the iVIEW and iVIEW DM player-user-interfaces, adds dramatic new levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot-play experience. The EBS applications delivers floor-wide, interactive promotions, second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards, all without interrupting play on the base game.
The EBS DM Tournaments™ app recently powered the “World’s Largest Slot Tournament” at Pechanga Resort & Casino, which enabled 1,100 players to simultaneously compete in a tournament on slot cabinets made by five different manufacturers. With Bally’s iVIEW DM and DM Tournaments, any machine with the technology installed, anywhere on the floor, can be turned into a tournament slot and then turned back to normal game-play mode right afterwards.
