VANCOUVER, BC -- The B.C Lottery Corporation is stepping up efforts to detect problem gamblers, Global BC reported.

Changes will be made and surveillance will be beefed up to improve its voluntary-exclusion system, the report said.

The B.C Lottery Corp. has faced several lawsuits from gamblers whom it failed to prevent entering casinos, Global BC said.
