Australia: Sport wants match-fixing law

AUSTRALIA -- The Coalition of Major Professional and Participation Sports want legislation to tackle match-fixing and sport related corruption, Reuters reported.

The call follows the Pakistan cricket scandal, Reuters said.

The body described current legislation as "inconsistent" and said it doesn't deal specifically with the problem of sport corruption, Reuters reported.
