AUSTRALIA -- The advisory group on restricting poker machines will be lead by Peter Shergold, ABC News reported.
Shergold is a former head of the Prime Minister's Department, the report said
The advisory group has been established to consult on the government's move to introduce both "pre-commitment technology" on the machines and ATM withdrawal limits in venues that house them, ABC News reported.
The government is aiming to reduce problem gambling, the report added.
