Analyst Sees Diverse Gaming on Trek

HAMMOND, Indiana – As reported by the MarketWatch: "By the time he rolled into the Horseshoe Casino here late last week, Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Eric Hausler had seen 40 casinos in seven states over 18 days.

"By the time he's done later this week, he'll have been to nearly 20 more in another four states. Along the way, he'll have seen first-hand just how much the industry has grown from of its Nevada roots.

"While Las Vegas is -- and will likely long remain -- the largest single concentration of gambling halls on the planet, its future prosperity has become increasingly linked to the proliferation of smaller, 'feeder' operations across the country.

"…While Hausler sees companies expanding in existing markets, the potential for continued geographic expansion is starting to dwindle.

"…Hausler's current top pick in the sector is Penn National Gaming, which owns casinos and racetracks in Illinois, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi and other jurisdictions.
